Matt Moeckel

Owner, Trainer

Matt graduated from the University of Massachusetts in Dartmouth in 2006, working as a student athlete and strength and conditioning coach. After college, Matt followed his passion in the fitness industry, studying at NPTI (National Personal Training Institute) in Waltham, MA, becoming a Nutrition Consultant and NSCA certified strength and conditioning coach.

Matt has had more than thirteen years of personal and small group training experience, developing a lifelong passion for helping others achieve their fitness goals. Matt specializes in progressive functional strength development, metabolic strengthening for fat loss, cardio-respiratory conditioning, power development, corrective exercises and pain management, flexibility, and neuromuscular development.

 Matt has trained a wide variety of clients; ranging from elderly, obese, and immobile clients to elite strength and endurance athletes, military, and police force.

Phil Decesare


Phil has been a certified personal trainer for over 2 decades as well as a Group Exercise Trainer.  He has trained men, women and kids of all fitness levels.  Recently, losing over 40 pounds has enabled him to plank for 21+ minutes and do 40 pull ups.  As an actor, he applies concepts of posture and movement into his training.   He has appeared in featured roles on three History Channel programs and have been in movie scenes with Amy Adams.

Jen Kirstein

Yoga Instructor

Jen holds a BA in sociology and psychology from Framingham State University. Formerly a counselor to adolescents in group homes; her passion for fitness and wellness has lead her to teach yoga. Her background includes a certification from One Voice Yoga, a 200 hour teaching training program, Reiki I, NASM, and CPR/AED. The corner stone of her yoga class is rooted in safety and functionality in either a 'power' flow or restorative style. She believes “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!” Her hands on approach includes assists and powerful breath-work to guide clients through postures.

When not on the mat, she enjoys strength training, nature and hiking, the ocean and her rescue dogs.
